Background
Jono Young is a personal injury attorney licensed in Colorado and Texas with over fourteen years of experience on both sides of civil litigation. He began his career on the defense bar representing commercial insurance carriers and corporate entities, giving him direct insight into how opposing parties evaluate and defend claims.
In 2018, Jono made the switch to plaintiffs' work and has been working tirelessly for injured victims ever since. He has negotiated and resolved more than 800 personal injury claims and recovered over $11.5 million for his clients. His case experience includes claims involving commercial trucking, auto negligence, dog attacks, premises liability, dram shop liability, and more. He has represented clients in dozens of state and federal courts across Colorado and Texas. As a measure of his leadership skills, Jono was promoted to Director of Prelitigation Attorneys at his prior firm and oversaw several attorneys in offices across both states.
Jono earned his J.D. from The University of Texas School of Law in 2011, receiving the Dean's Achievement Award for Excellence in the Study of Jurisprudence. He previously clerked for the Honorable Nancy F. Atlas of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas and served as a judicial intern at the Supreme Court of the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands.
Outside of work, Jono enjoys hiking and running and spending time in the beautiful Colorado outdoors with his wife, dog, and two young sons.
