Background

Chanelle was born and raised on the south side of Chicago. She earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Political Science from Western Illinois University before obtaining her Juris Doctor from Thomas M. Cooley Law School with honors. While in law school, Chanelle served as Senior Resource Editor for the Thomas M. Cooley Law Review, Editor-in-Chief of “The Pillar” and was a member of the Black Law Students Association.

 

Chanelle’s passion for helping others was solidified at a young age. She’s always wanted to make an impact on and give back to her community. Prior to joining Johnson Law Group, Chanelle was a litigation paralegal at another plaintiff law firm. While there, she learned the intricacies of personal injury claims and had the opportunity to assist with medical malpractice and premises liability trials. She currently focuses on personal injury matters, where is she is dedicated to zealously advocating for her clients and ensuring they are fairly and adequately compensated for the injuries they sustain.


Outside of her legal practice, Chanelle enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and dog, as well as traveling and crocheting.
