LaToyia was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky. After a medical malpractice incident occurred in her family, her passion for litigating on behalf of wrongfully injured patients and affected families emerged. LaToyia attended the University of Louisville and graduated with a major in Political Science and minor in Justice Administration. She went on to attend Florida State college of Law where she was an editor for the Business Law Review and a member of the Dispute Resolution Society and Women’s Law Society. She obtained her Juris Doctor with a concentration in Health Law and Policy in 2010.
LaToyia has experience in Business Law, Health Law, Corporate Law and Compliance but focuses her practice on Mass Tort Litigation and product liability. She is also active in her community through her volunteer work with local charities such as Friends of Down Syndrome, Dress for Success, Ronald McDonald House and the American Heart Association.
